        Echoes...of a long ago war...
        whose war cries still resound
        ...Memories of allies...
        who never backed down

        Names like Dega and Bru...
        and Montagnard...were warriors true
        We fought along side of you...
        so long ago...and far away...

        With hanging heads...today we hear,
        the end of your fighting is still not near
        ...It still goes on...and it does seem...
        your freedom...is still an elusive dream
