A WORLD UNTOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS

Inside the forest there are trees so thick, even the air barely reaches the ground.

Yet the roar of a mighty wind can be heard as it blows the treetops around.

The only thing in sight are the moss covered rocks and the trees standing straight and tall.

On the ground are leaves decayed and branches lying where they fall.

Step into a clearing and the air is so clean and clear you feel you could drink it.

The stillness takes you far away from the struggles of life where only peace and contentment exists.

The sky clouds over and rain falls so crystal clear it smells like flowers drifting through the air.

The gray clouds do not even seem a part of this world; this quiet solitude with no despair.

Only occasionally do we have the opportunity to step into a world we'd rather not leave.

Instead we chose a world of concrete jungles, where even the trees can hardly breathe.

Where engine's roar and rain comes down in gray streams from the filth it gathers as it falls.

Mountains cannot be seen beyond their man made structures with their seemingly elegant walls.

What have we done to this world in our drive to make life easier and more productive?

We have driven back a peaceful life where only the animals now live.

In our struggle for material things and our search for a better life, we have missed the real Earth...created by God.

A world of peace and beauty without care or strife.

Walk into a forest...Look and listen to a world as it was created...untouched by human hands.

Then ask yourself...was progress really worth it?

Have we really made this a better land?
