Utopia

Way up in the sky where ice crystals form, Is where an Airborne soldier is born...They lift off and fly to a destination, They step out of the plane without hesitation...The sky is so blue no way to describe the hue, The air is so fresh that if you aren't careful it can turn you blue...Your mind at peace, your heart forlorn, for that is the day you are born...The adrenalin flows through your brain, For a brief moment you and the elements are no longer twain...You are a part of God's magnificent creation, Floating through the air you have a magical sensation...All too soon you see the jungle, you smell the swamp and into the mud you tumble...Your brief moment of utopia, shattered as the sounds of war rumble...You're jerked back to reality; war has a utopia of it own, one you don't want to be lost in...Now your life you must defend, To kill the enemy is to win...Winning is only another day, another sunrise to greet your eyes, another prayer, Lord allow me to once again soar through your skies...Feeling that magical sensation, being entwined with your wonderful creation...
