Auschwitz...Liberation Day

On this Day in 1945

The Russians opened ‘The Gates of Hell’

Behind which ‘The Angel of Death’

And his doomed prisoners did abide

The world began to see

The horrors the gates did hide

Of broken souls and tortured eyes

Of innocent victims` moaning cries

Oh...please...please...God...I beg

That no one again drinks this bitter dreg

Never again allow the world to stand by

While thousands of innocent people die
