Beach Chairs
Beach chairs rarely sit as a single
they're placed for people who want to mix-mingle
I no longer live where the beach is nearby
I sit and watch as leaves color and die
I sit inside, out of winter's cold reach
And think of the chairs
on a white sandy beach.
