BEAUTY BOUND ~~~~

...Sunset over this wild and lovely place

highlights the Virgin's brooding face,

and reassures the occupants within

that they are safe for the night, again ~~

...rolls of wire, sharp and bright

remind the soldiers in the night

that the world outside is cruel and mean

notwithstanding the sunset scene......

The Virgin Beauty is Bound, and scarred,

her face and soul, with craters marred

she will live through it, and heal with time

and become, once again, the Beauty Sublime.
