Blinded
There's no one in the house but me,
the dog, the cat, and that makes three
I'm all alone; I cannot breathe
Don't understand; why did he leave?
Oh, he's not gone, as in "away".
Just for awhile, he's going to stay
but I'm as alone as I can be
what on earth is wrong with me?
I go through the motions every day
I get through the day and then I pray
Can't see as well as I did before
Blinded by tears; not loved anymore.
