She wore skates of bloody red |

Flames tattooed on her arms |

She was a wildcat, it was said |

With a measure of girlish charm |
|
She skated the roller derby |
|
For almost sixteen years |
|
When she retired early |
|
Her team mates shed no tears |
|
She was a Jammer, they say the best |

But she burned out early on |
|
They say she lost her zest |

When she put her tutu on |
