COMMITTED TO WAR

Victims of patience and the love of peace,

We waited in sorrow as our enemy's might increased,

Now made brave by our long discontent,

We advance to war from which we won't repent.

Our conscience is clear, and our hearts are strong,

Though the abhorrence of war we pray wont last for long.

Let the ends indeed justify certain means,

To wipe pitiless terror from innocent people's dreams.

All who love must suffer the wrongs of hate,

Germinated from envy of sweet freedoms state,

Possessed in minds corrupted and deformed,

Justified by actions of suicides performed,

That wastes good lives to obliterate their own,

For a martyrdom of seeds so briefly sown.
