The Cost of War

Tracks through time

Jungles and sand

Young and old

The meek and the bold

The guilty and the innocents

All left their footprints

War has always raged

Upon almost every history page

In the minds of those who fought

There is still peace sought

So elusive still years on

After the battles have come and gone

It is peace they strive for

But find that the cost of war

Is its solders unrest...

Seemingly...Forevermore
