December Scene

The sky is gloomy

And gray

A very depressing kind of color

On this cold day

For now there is no other hue

Just fields and hills of winter brown

Interspaced with evergreen

A typical winter scene

Soon the Camellias will bloom

And herald the scene

Of green upon green

Laced with dancing flowers

And I shall forget Decembers

Bleak brown bowers
