Fallujah
A bomb on the roadside
...five soldiers have died
in the air...an evil scent
telling of a deed Hell-bent
An ambush and a flaming car...
four civilians caught in an ugly war
a trembling fear deep within...
just being foreign was their sin
Charred remains hung on the bridge irons
...a lesson practiced of hate taught for eons
This...a dark deed of a brainwashed nation
...whose perpetrators fear not damnation...
