The
Game of Gods
I
cherish now my childhood
Since I've learned what men can do
By
the time I laid my weapons down
I'd
learned a thing or two
For
I had played the game of Gods
And
killed my fellow man
While still under the impression
That
my country had a plan
So
cold was my conclusion
That
indeed I lived their lie
I'd
traveled to a foreign land
To
help a stranger die
A
journey most unpleasant
With
the truth much harsher still
You
know life's hardest moments
Are
the ones that test your will
A
charade of many guises
A
crusade without a soul
A
reminder of the folly found
When
no one's in control
