Home Where I Am Free
Today I came home to you
I needed a quiet place
I leaned my head upon your arms
I felt your warm embrace
I listened to the sounds you made
So soft and soothing in my ear
I felt such peace within my soul
Your love felt very near
The colors within your humble abode
Had changed from yesterday
I remembered some red and lovely orange
But today they had went away
I felt a breeze upon my face
I almost thought that I could fly
Time moves so swiftly when I'm with you
I always hate to say goodbye
I will come home another day
To the mountains where I am free
I'll stand in humble silence
Wrapped in the arms of my favorite tree
