Anger turned inward…
so fiery and red
Thunder and lightning
…inside the head
Running in the rain…
the rain of tears…
trying to escape the pain
…trying to flee the fears
…trying to escape the pain
Never a real life on the run
Finally in the silence
…the click of a gun
Now the pain is outrun
The anger of war
will be borne no more…
