I AM AUSTRALIA
Where in distress a nation, rightly free, Doth ask assistance from the likes of me, Then I will take up arms to bring you aide, For of a noble substance I am made. While I am made from the fiber of God’s law, I do not cringe in fear from any war, That seeks to cripple friends with whom I'm bound, For on the principle of mate-ship I was found. Still of youth, my strength will yet increase, For I stand for freedom, democracy, and peace, And sincerely to all nations I give my hand, That all the world might better understand, That love and friendship is the better way, To solve the problems of the world’s decay. ã18 October 03 Colin F Jones
