In Fallujah and Tikrit

it's just another day

of gunfire and car bombs

and sandstorms on the way.

Another day of trying ~

"It's All Good", is what we say; 

just one more day of dying,

It's just another day...

If the enemy was smarter

they'd stay silent, and they'd wait

Until we brought our troops home

and left them to their fate -

We want to do the right thing,

we want to help them to their feet

But there's gunfire in Fallujah

and sadness in Tikrit ~~~~~
