Psalm 139: 14-16

THE INDIANS - The proud people who loved the land,

They were murdered and killed by the white man’s hand.

We drove them away with guns and knives.

What was the excuse...to protect our lives?

From who...people who lived in harmony with the earth?

Human lives...created by God...is this all they were worth?

THE BLACK MAN - They brought him across the shining sea,

and sold him like an animal into slavery.

They couldn't vote, or ride a bus, or go to school.

I wonder if they hadn't yet read the golden rule?

But hey! Abraham Lincoln said they were free,

and if a President says so it surely must be.

THE JEWS - They brought them to concentration camps,

starving and cold, in places so damp.

The ones who do not lie in mass graves...

live with the horror...who will except the blame?

Will it be the Nazi's who drove them there,

or will it be a world who really didn't care?

You say it wasn't me, I wasn't there when it happened!

But what about now and the things that are happening?

Babies with hearts beating, killed before birth;

Broken and helpless, only in God's eyes do they have worth.
