Almighty God, You are so awesome!
You give good and perfect gifts.
This is the day that You have made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
(See Psalm 118:24)
We thank You that Malcolm has achieved these milestones:
Graduating from
Matriculating at the
LORD,
we give You all the glory because You have been with Malcolm
all along the way – providing guidance, comfort, protection,
blessings, mercy, favor and grace.
The prophet Jeremiah promises us that Your thoughts toward Malcolm
are of peace and not of evil; You give him a future and a hope.
(See Jeremiah 29:11)
The psalmist declares that You will be with Malcolm in times of trouble
and with a long life You will satisfy him.
(See Psalm 91:15)
The Apostle Paul reminds us that Malcolm can do all things
through Christ who gives him strength.
(See Philippians 4:13)
Forgive us for our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
Remind Malcolm of whom and what he needs to forgive
so that he might quickly forgive.
Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from all that is evil.
We know that the events of this day are the LORD’S doing;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
(See Psalm 118:23)
We trust You LORD, that Malcolm will become all You have destined him to be.
The Kingdom, the Power and the Glory are Yours both now and forever.
In the matchless Name of Jesus Christ we do pray –
AMEN Carolyn Woodfork-Richardson ~ Mother
