MORE HUMBLE

Let us accept ourselves as Human,

As the people that we are,

And acknowledge that all true men,

Could be better folk by far.

Let us admit that we have defects,

And a will God-given and free,

That we are driven by life’s effects,

Though we choose to deny or agree.

Lets accept that we live among insects,

Among trees and Donkeys and dogs,

And eat the flesh of the bovine,

The flesh of the sheep and the hogs.

Then perhaps we will be more humble,

And swap all our sneakers for clogs.
