Names On A Wall
Panels form a long black wall In memory of those who answered a call They traveled to a far off land To meet their fate by an enemy's hand They never lost a battle whether On sea or air or land But why they had to be there Most didn't understand The battles lasted many years The cost was turmoil and strife Our people shed many tears At the loss of human life Many years have come and gone And many tears still fall When little children ask their Grandpa why are all these names Written on this wall
