NEWS ALERT 3

The Calhoun County Times has learned that Mrs. Alma Wilson has been taken to the sheriff’s office for further questioning in the strange disappearance of her husband, Fred Wilson. Information obtained by the Sheriff has led him to believe that perhaps Fred Wilson had not been abducted by a “strange light” at the Bush Run Rest Area.

“This is dumb,” Mrs. Wilson was heard to say as she was escorted into the sheriff’s office. Everyone knows that I loved my Fred with all my heart and would do nothing to harm him despite the rumors that have been flying around about our lives. We were devoted to each other and had just enjoyed a romantic dinner at the Bank before stopping at the Bush Run Rest Area.”

One of the questions that remains unanswered is just why Fred and Alma Wilson would have stopped at the Bush Run Rest Area on their way home as it is in the opposite direction from their house.

“This is a travesty of justice” Mr. Fellows said as he walked into the sheriff’s office beside Mrs. Wilson. “Sure Fred could be a hand full at times and was known to be not to nice to Alma but for her to have done anything to him, why that is out of the question. I am sure all of the Sheriff’s questions will be answered by the time she leaves the sheriff’s office.

“It is about time that Sheriff Morgan got around to grilling Alma,” Joan Creature remarked to our reporter. “Everyone knows she was tired of poor Fred,” She continued as she wiped a tear from her eye.

Sheriff Morgan had no comment to make.
