What is the Price?

The Answer is: One

Who pays the cost?

Somebody's Son.

How about the Daughter?

They, too, will be there

at the time of the Slaughter.

Who weeps, who is sad?

The Mother and Dad.

Why?

Their Sons and their daughters

are all that they had.

Is there no Hope for this

strange Humankind?

Sometimes it seems as

if they are blind.

But, who pays the price

when the Wars are all won...

When the deserts are blasted

and there's blood on the Sun?

All of them suffer

Not just the One.
