Our Flag
Of the world's flags unfurled
The one I like the best
Is the one I know is ruled
By the people who stood the test
Two hundred years of Stars and Stripes
Battle-scarred and worn
Have stood hands above the likes
Commemorating new nations born
The Blue Ensign and the Union Jack
Follow close behind
Their people honored a kinship stacked
With treaties never signed
Our flag is a symbol of our land
And the unity we hold
To stand up straight and make a stand
When our enemies are bold
Two hundred years of freedom won
Are captured in that cloth
Never to be undone
By apathy and sloth
So raise high those Stripes and Stars
And let the world know
That rips and faded bars
Only make our banner glow
