Talk always gets around to war
Don’t talk about much else anymore
...those retired old guys
with faraway looks in their eyes
They said...'yes...it drags on
When will it ever be done
When are the troops coming home
Why don’t they just quit and get gone'
An old veteran began to point out
which side he thought was at fault
He said...'The evils of war will give a sign
and above all...answers like coins will shine
Which side commits the biggest crime...
Ha…you can tell every time
..Look and see in whose pockets
...war has placed its dime...'
