 A portrait of a soldier
 never was taken
 that could hide the eyes,
 tired and shaken -
 
 One is a father,
 all are someone's son,
 some come home
 when the war is done.
 
 Whether wounded or
 a Prisoner, whole or not
 The Faces in the Portraits
 were captured and shot.
