Sarah Jane

From Brisbane came Sarah Jane

A hoppy young jill was she

In a kangaroo court was judged insane

And banished to Coventry

A wire mesh cage where she’s confined

Only room for her joey and her

When a roo keeper friendly and kind

Went to a court and adopted her

Sarah Jane hops the outback again

Grazing on grass, young shoots and leaves

Her joey, though, has taken up Zen

Moved to Tibet with his brother Steve

Sarah Jane visits from time to time

Her joeys, they meet her half way

She hates that tall mountain to climb

And prefers the flat ground for her stay
