Silence
The
silence came again today
Took
all the words inside away
And
left me here alone with me
Quite speechless in this world I see
A
life not lived is worse than sin
No
matter where that life has been
Too
often we don't sing our song
Because we're taught that we're not strong
From
birth the powers stripped away
Ensuring now, just where we'll stay
Denied the tools, the mind though free
Must
live a captured 'liberty'
No
soaring thoughts allowed in here
The
state will keep us all from fear
No
need to know or ever care
God
help you if you're found aware
Another kingdom of the lamb
The
wolves just love this stupid sham
Is
there no warrior we can seek
To
end this circus of the meek
