Tempest

Tempest played the leading role

In the summer stock variety show

She played it with her heart and soul

While she watched her audiences grow

She stole the hearts of the whole front row

They laughed and cried with each scene

But what her audience didn’t know

Was she wanted to play on the silver screen

Tempest finally got her break

She was noticed by a talent scout

He just couldn’t stay awake

When the rest of crowd walked out

When he woke his heart flip-flopped

Tempest was playing just for him

He didn’t know when the show had stopped

And when the second show would begin

The second group was a wild crowd

They yelled and hollered “take it off”

Tempest removed as much was allowed

But kept her tiny sequined top
