Thanksgiving At The Corner

Right now at Scott’s Mission
they are cooking away…
readying for Thanksgiving Day
Smell the turkeys roasting.
Since nineteen and forty-one
...they have been hosting.

The meal is again almost done
The needy will be there in their best array
Thanksgiving…Sunday...is the big day
Please...at your laden dinner table...
remember and say a prayer if you are able
Give thanks for the many volunteers
and in your hearts acknowledge
all those going to dinner at
the corner of Spadine and College...
