~~THE SNOW QUEEN~~

Through the bare limbs and the

blue light of the evening,

the North wind blows ~~

He etches frosted designs

on the window panes

and crisps the dying rose.......

Laughingly, he glides away,

over the frozen pond ~

leaving behind a Winter scene

He is artistic, this winter sprite,

and his darling isn't far behind;

The cool and lovely Snow Queen.
