THERE WAS A TIME
by: Spider
There was a time long ago
Before most of you were born
When my heart was ruled by love,
But that was then I tell you now…
And I am not a man to speak lightly of things inside.
I met her by chance or fate,
I cannot decide which one guided me there.
My eyes had beheld beauty, but never perfection.
She was all of that.
It seemed a year,
But it was minutes before my lips captured hers
And she took over my soul.
Tiny, she was so tiny
I called her my little elf.
I told her of my fears
From secret places inside of me.
She held me in the dark
And understood my cries.
My world was bright and happy.
Good things came my way,
Until the day she suicided…
Then I found fear and hate again and became
Outlaw…
The rest you do not want to know.
