Think Spring

Geese are flying north to stay,
Mother deer has baby in May,
Father time has changed his clock,
Mother Nature calls winter to stop.

Bumble bees dance in the flowers,
April showers give them power,
Fragrant smells fill the air,
Singing birds fly here and there.

Dogs are barking in the yards,
Cats are prowling in the barns,
Fields of gold are flowing like water,
Baby horses follow their mothers.

Springtime in a country setting,
Winter is leaving, the trees are heavy,
With apples, oranges, and other things.

These are what I think of,
When I think of Spring.
