Willow lived on Counsel Lane |
|
In the village of Spanish Fork |
|
Where the villagers were mostly sane |
|
In the asylum where they worked |
|
Willow’s job was counting pills |
|
For the nurses to hand out |
|
On Fridays she paid bills |
|
And had a paper route |
|
On her route she rode a bike |
|
But she walked to pay the bills |
|
She was finished by morning light |
|
Then back to counting pills |
|
Willow never took vacation |
|
She never stopped to take a rest |
|
But there was an indication |
|
She wasn’t always at her best |
